Spaghetti Bolognaise

One of Deb's signature dishes!

500g Beef Mince
1 x Brown Onion
2 x Cups Beef Stock
1 x Can Big Red Tomato Soup
1 x Cup Red Wine
Olive Oil
Garlic Powder
Worcestershire Sauce
Dried Oregano
Salt & Pepper
Basil leaves (optional)

1. Dice onion and put in saucepan with a little olive oil
2. Fry onion for 1-2 minutes
3. Add beef mince mix in with onion until beef is all browned
4. Add beef stock, red wine and tomato soup
5. Add sprinkle of garlic powder, salt & pepper, and a big pinch of dried oregano
6. Add a few splashes of worcestershire sauce
7. Add basil leaves (optional)
8. Simmer sauce over low/medium heat until most of the fluid has been reduced and you're left with a meat sauce with a nice consistency (approx 45mins - 1 hour). The sauce will start to bubble differently as it reaches the ideal consistency/thickness
8. Serve with cooked spaghetti
